Two Places
Two Places. One Journey
Roots is held in two distinct places in Colombia: one in the mountains, the other in the rainforest.
Both offer the same care, the same values, and the same partnership with the Indigenous communities who welcome us. The difference is not in the intention, but in the landscape that holds it.
Throughout the year, we host retreats in both locations. When you book, you’ll simply choose the place that feels right for you.
The Mountain
The mountains move at their own pace.
Cool mornings, open skies and long views create a natural sense of space. As the light changes across the valleys, the day unfolds without urgency.
Our mountain home sits quietly within this landscape. Forest, fresh air and wide horizons invite you to notice what is already here.
These mountains continue to be cared for by the Indigenous communities who welcome us.
As evening falls, the light softens, conversations become quieter, and the mountain gradually settles into stillness.
The Rainforest
The rainforest has a rhythm of its own.
Warm air, dense green and the sounds of life surround you. Here, the landscape feels closer — less something you look out towards, and more something you find yourself within.
Our rainforest home sits among this abundance, where paths move beneath the trees and the sounds of birds, insects and water become part of the day.
This is a living landscape, shaped and cared for by the Indigenous communities who have called it home for generations.
As evening comes, the forest changes again. The light disappears through the canopy, different sounds emerge, and the rainforest carries on around you.
What Remains the Same
Whether you choose the mountains or the rainforest, the heart of Roots remains unchanged.
- The same small groups.
- The same care and attention.
- The same respect for our Indigenous partnerships.
- The same commitment to a supported and unhurried experience.
The landscape may change. The way we approach the journey does not.
A Week Together
Wherever your journey takes place, there is a gentle rhythm to the week.
Space for ceremony and practice, conversation and rest — and for the moments that cannot be planned.
Remember · Respect · Return.
